“Nick White, producer/actor and Joanna Procter, director are breaking new ground with this production. It takes its small audience on a journey in an old cart pulled by 2 shire horses for 2 hours beside the River Parrett, along country lanes, telling a heart-felt mythological story using 4 key professional actors supported by half a dozen committed community actors.

This is a sight specific, high-quality, production totally in the Zeitgeist. Using an invented myth about eels interacting with humans on a journey from the Sargasso Sea to the River Parrett the drama is truly spellbinding. It explores the major political/social/environmental issues facing us all. Major flooding caused by Global Warming, uber Capitalism laying waste to the planet and dysfunctional human relationships engineered by the triumph of individualism over community.

It uses a brave shamanic myth to move society forward based on a commitment to bio- regionalism, nature, family and community. What could be more important than that?”

“And Joanna thank you for your exceptional rehearsal process…..”
